Course Information

The golf course at The Club at Shadow Lakes was designed in 1974 for Beaver Lakes Country Club by acclaimed golf course architect Ferdinand Garbin, a well-regarded champion of classic golf course design and restoration. Known for incorporating the features of existing terrains and natural environs, Garbin designed more than 58 golf courses, many of them in the Pittsburgh region. Despite many changes over the years to the Clubhouse buildings and the addition of luxury houses to the club, the course at The Club at Shadow Lakes retains Garbin’s original, timeless design.

The course measures 6,570 yards from the blue tees, and 6,265 yards from the white tees, with fairways and greens of bent grass, a few challenging water hazards, and approximately 43 sand bunkers. The course has a rating of 72 for both men and women, and a PGA rating of 137. Many golfers consider the course's No. 9 hole to be a signature feature because of its elevated tee that overlooks the entire course and new Clubhouse.
